Helping You Stay Clean and Compliant

Clean and Compliant at Work

While many companies have been forced to change their business models recently to allow staff to work remotely, for many that’s not an option. But how do you keep your workplace clean, to prevent spread of infection?

You’ve implemented social distancing protocols and your staff know to wash their hands regularly. You even have a supply of 2020’s hot item, hand sanitiser.

But it’s not enough to keep your workplace clean and hygienic.

Don’t get us wrong, hand sanitiser, used in the right setting and in the right way, is great. We sell it. It’s a vital weapon against disease when soap and water isn’t available, or for situations like health and aged care.

But all the hand sanitiser in the world won’t help, if the rest of your workplace isn’t clean and hygienic.

Cross Contamination

Coronavirus, like cold and flu viruses, can remain active on surfaces for hours – even days. Viruses generally remain active longer on stainless steel, plastic and similar hard surfaces than on fabric and other soft surfaces. It’s actually possible to catch the cold and flu, or pick up gastroenteritis and now COVID-19, from handling an object an infected person sneezed or coughed on, or touched.1

When Chempower Australia provides advice to clients, we look at all areas that need to be clean and hygienic.

This includes handrails; doorknobs; benches; food preparation areas; tableware, cookware and glassware; washrooms; floors; bedding and towels; sinks, ovens and grills; furniture… and that’s just the start.

The needs can be very different, depending on whether we’re talking about food production, food service, housekeeping and janitorial, or health and aged care.

Sound daunting? It doesn’t need to be. Chempower Australia has 20 years’ experience in producing cleaning and sanitation solutions for industry professionals.

Rely on the Experts

We started off blending cleaning chemicals for the laundry and textile industry in 1999. In 2003, we expanded to include solutions for food service and hospitality, food manufacturing, professional housekeeping and janitorial companies, and aged care facilities.

Our chemicals are still blended on site, so we know exactly what goes into them and how to use them. We supply high quality dispensing systems. And we provide service, training and regular testing to ensure cleaning chemicals are being used in the right way, and in the right quantities.
